Did you know that stroke and heart disease affect1 in 3 women each year? Shockingly, this disease kills approximately 1 woman every 80 seconds. Good news - 80% of these deaths ARE preventable through education and awareness! Heart disease is no longer considered a “mans disease” and according to the American Heart Association, more women than men have died of heart disease since 1984.

Friday, February 5 is declared National Wear Red Day as part of the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign.

Let’s go school uniform style and only wear red polo’s, t-shirts, or sweatshirts tomorrow to show support for women struggling with heart disease.
